The SATURN Horizontal Slider is a high performance window of robust construction. Corners are mitred, screwed and sealed with silicone sealant. The window is designed for face fixing, with a rigid snap in screw cover (in black, white or grey), or a flexible insert (in black or white) to conceal the fixings. The most frequent requirement is for a two-pane window, either with both panes sliding, or with one pane sliding and one pane fixed, but a three-pane window can also be provided with the central pane fixed. Windows can be coupled together using a box transom to create multi-slider composites.
Finish:
Natural Anodised or Polyester Powder Coated to a variety of standard colors.
Glazing:
As well as standard glasses such as annealed, toughened, laminated and wired types such as georgian wired pyroshield, the windows can be supplied with solar controlled glass such as anti-sun and low emissivity ‘K’ glass. This system can accommodate 4mm and 6mm single glazing or a 14mm double glazed unit using PVC gaskets.
Fittings:
A central fitch catch is fitted for maximum security. A lockable version can be supplied if required. Sliding panes run on stainless steel rollers.
