ATB Systems has launched Orion, a new enhanced security aluminium door, ideal for social housing front entrances, or any controlled access entrance where improved durability and security are important, and where an attractive appearance is also required.
The robust, anti vandal Orion aluminum security door features a heavy duty extrusion design incorporating a 12SWG grade 304 stainless steel continuous hinge, anti leverage door profiles and security beads, coupled with perimeter weather strips and DDA compliant threshold. Typically doors found in social housing specification are a mixture of different types of security additions, but Orion combines all the requirements to conform to DD171: 1987, but with bespoke extrusions.
Orion can be fitted with either glass or polycarborbonate and ATB's unique anti-vandal protection mesh, which can be easily replaced without the door having to be dis-assembled, saving time and money for the housing association.
The Orion door suite also has an integrated anti-tamper electro-magnetic lock door post to offer controlled access holding force of over 700 kg.
