January 2011: ATB takes the name on the road as business expands

Expanding Lye-based ATB Systems, manufacturers of aluminium and aluminium/timber composite commercial windows, doors and curtain walling will be taking to the road this year with the company’s first ever branded vehicle.
Family-owned, ATB Systems was established in 1997 by Colin, Mark and Sheila Freeman and has invested in the new van which will be used to transport products for installation throughout the UK.
The company’s Taurus Max brand – a range of enhanced security doors and windows which is proving highly successful for ATB in today’s market – is heavily promoted on the van. The range, which is designed and manufactured by ATB Systems is ideal for many applications where security is important as Dave Simms, Commercial Manager at ATB System explains:
“Security is particularly important for many commercial buildings such as schools, colleges, offices, laboratories, hospitals, social housing and IT units. Since the doors and windows in the Taurus Max range have been rigorously tested to the highest standards for break- ins and even air rifle attack, they are much in demand.

“We are expanding fast and as a result we are opening a new office/showroom based in Lye during 2011. This really is a good news story for the local economy.”
