The JUPITER window is a medium weight window designed for Relocatable Building Manufacturers where thermal de-bridging is not required. Window combinations with fixed, top hung or side casements can be offered within the same outer frame. Corners are mitred, mechanically cleated and sealed with silicone sealant.
Fixing:
Face fixed through the exterior flange, with a rigid snap in cover strip (in black, white or grey) or a flexible insert (in black or white) to conceal the fixings.
Finish:
Natural Anodised or Polyester Powder Coated to a variety of standard colors.
Glazing:
As well as standard glasses such as annealed, toughened, laminated and wired types such as georgian wired pyroshield, the windows can be supplied with solar controlled glass such as anti-sun, reflectafloat, and low emissivity ‘K’ glass. The system can accommodate 4mm and 6mm single glazing or an 18mm double glazed unit using aluminium glazing beads and PVC gaskets.
Fittings:
Lockable cockspur handles in silver, black or white, and stainless steel friction hinges are fitted as standard.
Other options include:
- Friction hinges with built in restrictors (releasable in emergency).
- Separate permanent restrictors.
- Cam openers with joining bar.
- Butt hinges.
Trickle ventilation:
Permanent background ventilation can be provided by using our standard through frame ventilator centred above an opening light. This is approximately 640mm long and provides a minimum of 4000m2 of adjustable trickle ventilation. Alternatively, where additional ventilation is required or in fixed lights, glazed-in ventilatiors can be fitted allowing up to 15000m2 of adjustable ventilation per metre length.
Locker door:
Utilising the same system A.T.B. Systems offer a locker door, fitted with butt hinges. Clients can utilise their own 4mm or 6mm panels through which we suggest a small cam lock is fitted. Alternatively steel panels can be provided in a range of colors with a smooth or leathergrain finish.
