The JUPITER door is a medium weight door complete with a frame designed for Relocatable Building Manufacturers.  The main feature is a rebated door leaf, which incorporates weather seals both in the outer frame and in the door leaf itself, giving superb weathering properties.  The outer frame and door leaves have mitred joints, are mechanically cleated and sealed with silicone sealant.  Drainage is incorporated in the standard threshold.

Finish:         
Natural Anodised or Polyester Powder Coated to a variety of standard colors.

Options:       

• Single door or double door.
• With or without a mid-rail (with letterplate if required).
• Single glass or panel, available in 4mm and 6mm thickness.
• Double glazed sealed unit or panel, available in 18mm thickness only.
• With a standard rebated threshold, with no threshold, or with a flush threshold.

 

Glazing:
As well as standard glasses such as annealed, toughened, laminated and wired types such as georgian wired pyroshield, the doors can be supplied with solar controlled glass such as anti-sun, reflectafloat, and low emissivity ‘K’ glass.  The system can accommodate 4mm and 6mm single glazing or an 18mm double glazed unit using PVC gaskets.

Where panels are requested in place of glass we use color-coat steel panels in a variety of colors or silver finish steel panels, bonded to a styrofoam or plywood core.  Alternatively doors can also be supplied unglazed for you to fit your own panels.  A mixture of glazing can be accommodated, such as single glazed toughened in the top portion and a bonded steel panel in the bottom.

Replacement glazing:
In the event of breakage of glass, the internal glazing beads can be removed, enabling the glass to be replaced without removing the door leaf itself.

Fittings:
A five lever mortice lock with lever handles is fitted as standard, although other alternatives, such as a deadlock, or panic bar can be fitted if preferred.  Extruded aluminium butt hinges are used.  Double doors are fitted with flush shoot bolts at the top and bottom of the slave leaf.

Fixing:
The door frame is designed for face fixing through the exterior flange, although traditional fixing through the inner part of the frame is also possible if preferred.  A rigid plastic cover trim to conceal the fixings is supplied in 4m lengths, and is available in black, white or grey.  Alternatively, we have a flexible plastic infil in black or white, which is supplied in 300m rolls, although smaller quantities are available if necessary.
